Why and for Who?

We all have great ideas, and we all ultimately want to help someone and create value. However, very often, initiatives are started before we fully understand the vision, the purpose and why we are doing it in the first place. More importantly, we are not even very sure about who specifically we are trying to help. The pressures of a world obsessed with running for the “bottom line” leads us directly there, the bottom. We rush, demanding to have everything yesterday only to wonder where and how it all went wrong. This first axe , called Benefits Realization Approach, looks to help you understand and clearly articulate your vision (WHY and PURPOSE) and who you are trying to help (PERSONAS). We will also decipher the specific targetted BENEFITS your initiatives want to achieve as well as confirm your value proposition. Lastly, we will ask the simple question; “Are we ready to do this?” Do we have the right capabilities not only technologically, but from a PEOPLE, PROCESS and ORGANIZATIONAL perspective? We underestimate our readiness and assume we have it all, only to find out too late that many ingredients and critical success factors are missing. These are only some reasons why we don’t create value. If you want to discover more about this first , often overlooked yet critical step, reach out now.
